Ive gone back to basics with my creating, I always find myself trying to hard with my layouts. I want them to be perfect and spending hours trying to find those perfect embellishments to finish of a page.
This week, as the kids are still away, I decided to scrap at least 3 pages. Guess what? I did four :-D. These pages were formed with the same process, 3 sets of stamps, ink and card. Some I added more too and others I felt the stamps, ink and card said all I needed too.
This was my favourite of them all, so I thought I would share this first! I always try to create a few less cluttered pages for my scrapbooks, to ensure that some times the picture and everything can be taken in.
This picture of my youngest daughter curled up on her daddy's chair melts my heart. When the kids are sleeping, I often look at them and hope they are having amazing dreams, full of laughter and hope. I created a word cloud by using different sets of ali edwards stamps, (i will link them below) and 4 colours of inks. I first set out all the stamps to see how they would sit together, took a quick photo on my phone so I could be sure to put them back in the place that they fitted best, and off I went.
Using my cricut to cut out the word sleep and big, i added them around my photo to frame it and used one of papertrey inks alphabets (fresh alphabet) to add extra words.
I added a few clouds embossed in white card to finish off my layout and voila! I love it!!
try using no patterned paper or embellishments on a page and see what you can do!
